JOB ORIENTED TRAINING
English and foreign language conversation / writing training:
The Board has initiated this program to provide workers and working families with the knowledge they need to write and communicate is foreign languages. This category offers training in English, French, Japanese, German, Russian Chinese. The duration of this training is three to six months. Foreign language communication and writing training is being provided to the students through expert in relevant fields at a nominal cost. Special attention is also being paid to personality development. These class has been started at the19 Circle Offices across the state.
Driver Training:
Four-wheeler driving training is provided for employment opportunities to the workers of the low-income groups, whose annual income is in the range of one lakh eighty thousand. For this, a nominal Rs. 500/- training fee is charged. The training is conducted with the help of a renowned organization, Maruti Suzuki. Training period is 21 days. After completing the training, the trainee is given a drivers license. Academic eligibility should be at least Std. 8th to 12th. These classes have been started in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Ratnagiri, Aurangabad, Baramati, Kolhapur, Solapur, Nagpur, Nashik, Jalgaon, Amravati, Pune and other important cities.
Job oriented training:
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is providing free training to the workers in order to provide them employment opportunities. Training includes English conversation, interview skills, personality development and computer knowledge. Training period is 20 to 25 days. Upon completion of the training, the students are provided a job of monthly income of Rs.12,000/- to Rs. 15,000/- Worker’s dependent in the last year of graduation or graduate or equivalent qualifying workers can avail this training.
रोजगाराभिमुख प्रशिक्षण
इंग्रजी व विदेशी भाषा संभाषण / लेखन प्रशिक्षण:
कामगार व कामगार कुटुंबियांना रोजगारभिमुख विदेशी भाषांचे लेखन व संभाषणासाठी आवश्यक ज्ञान व्हावे याकरिता मंडळाने हा उपक्रम नव्यानेच सुरु केला आहे. या वर्गात इंग्रजी, फ्रेंच, जॅपनीज, जर्मन, रशियन, चायनीज या भाषांचे प्रशिक्षण देण्यात येते. सदर प्रशिक्षणाचा कालावधी तीन ते सहा महिन्यांचा आहे. माफक शुल्कात संबंधित क्षेत्रातील ताज्ञामार्फत विद्यार्थ्यांना विदेशी भाषांचे संभाषण व लेखन प्रशिक्षण दिले जात आहे. तसेच व्यक्तिमत्व विकासावरही विशेष लक्ष दिले जात आहे. मंडळाच्या राज्यभरातील १९ गट कार्यालयाच्या स्तरावर हे वर्ग सुरु आहेत.
वाहन चालक प्रशिक्षण:
वार्षिक उत्पन्न एक लाख ऐंशी हजार आहे अशा अल्प उत्पन्न गटातील कामगारांच्या पाल्यांना रोजगाराच्या संधी उपलब्ध व्हाव्यात याकरिता चार चाकी वाहन चालविण्याचे प्रशिक्षण दिले जाते. या करिता नाममात्र रु. ५००/- प्रशिक्षण शुल्क आकारण्यात येते. मारुती सुझुकी या नामवंत संस्थेच्या मदतीने हे प्रशिक्षण दिले जाते. प्रशिक्षण कालावधी २१ दिवसांचा असतो. प्रशिक्षण पूर्ण केल्यानंतर प्रशिक्षणार्थींना शिकाऊ वाहन चालक परवाना दिला जातो. शैक्षणिक पात्रता किमान इयत्ता ८ वी ते कमाल १२ वी असावी. मुंबई, नवी मुंबई, ठाणे, रत्नागिरी, औरंगाबाद, बारामती, कोल्हापूर, सोलापूर, नागपूर, नाशिक, जळगाव, अमरावती, पुणे व आदी महत्वाच्या शहरामध्ये हे वर्ग सुरु आहेत.
रोजगाराभिमुख प्रशिक्षण:
कामगार पाल्यांना रोजगाराचे प्रशिक्षण देऊन त्यांना रोजगाराची संधी उपलब्ध करून द्यावी याउद्देशाने टाटा कन्सल्टन्सी सर्विसेस(टीसीएस) या संस्थेमार्फत विनामूल्य प्रशिक्षण देण्यात येते. प्रशिक्षणामध्ये इंग्रजी संभाषण, मुलाखत कौशल्य, व्यक्तिमत्व विकास आणि संगणक ज्ञान यांचा समावेश असतो. [प्रशिक्षण कालावधी २० ते २५ दिवसांचा असतो. प्रशिक्षण पूर्ण झाल्यानंतर विद्यार्थ्यांना प्रमाणपत्र तसेच टाटा कन्सल्टन्सी सर्विसेस मार्फत मुलाखत घेऊन उत्तीर्ण विद्यार्थांना रुपये १२ ते १५ हजारापर्यंत मासिक उत्पन्नाची नोकरी देण्यात येते. पदवीच्या शेवटच्या वर्षात अथवा पदवीधर किंवा समक्षक शैक्षणिक पात्रता असलेला कामगार पाल्य या प्रशिक्षणाचा लाभ घेऊ शकतो.
